We're currently featuring the spectacular artwork of Amanda Smith, who specializes in charcoal drawings, especially portraits and Irish dance related works.
Shown above is Amanda's charcoal drawing entitled "Hardshoes and Poodle Socks." This is available as a pack of 6 notecards with envelopes ($10) or as a 5" x 7" print matted to an 8" x 10" size ($25).
She also has a soft-shoe charcoal drawing available in cards and prints.
We recently ordered the hard-shoe cards and are using them up quickly! You may find, as we did, that a pack of 6 is just a starter. The realistic detail in the design is amazing - you can almost smell the leather of the hard shoes or feel the softness of the poodle socks. As much as we appreciate the convenience of email, a hand-written card is always a very thoughtful gesture, and you won't find these at your local Hallmark store!
